Special Effects Makeup

Helen offers special effects makeup for scare events, crowd events, promotion events, photoshoots, private clinics, theatre, media projects etc.

Helen will work as part of a team for film and big events but will also work as a single Makeup artist for photoshooots and small budget films.

The type of effects depends on the clients needs and budget, so therefore this is a bespoke service ranging from simple cuts and bruises, to prosthetics of all budgets such as one off liquid latex prosthetics for public events to silicone film pieces. 

Some clients choose to buy the prosthetics from a supplier and Helen will then just alppy this for the clients and colour them. Such as standard zombie or vampire brow prosthetics.

A & E  sfx (e.g. cuts/bruises), cheap one off rubber latex projects, foam latex prosthetics, silicone prosthetics and Gelatine prosthetics.  95% of the images below Helen has made the prosthetics.
